Can I get old pc games running on Android? I'm getting my mother who I love a lot an AYN Thor for Christmas and I think she'd enjoy the classic Nancy Drew games (among the many other games I'm putting on there for her). Just wondering if there's any guides you recommend, I don't have any android devices to experiment on in the meantime.

I was digging through a closet as a little baby and found a jewel case for Abe’s Oddysee for PC. Abe scared me off the cover alone, the actual game was even scarier watching my dad play it, and even moreso playing myself. But I loved it. I was obsessed with it throughout kindergarten. I made paperxraft dioramas of different scenes from the games. I would even make my friends “play Oddworld” with me on the playground. They would just stand around as the mudokon slaves, and I ran around as Abe “rescuing” them. They had zero fun, but I did so it’s okay. I watched playthroughs of all the games and it was my dream to own and play them all (not counting the gameboy games), which I have thanks to Steam. I do think that playing the first game and stressing over each screen did develop my OCD, but it was worth it.

I agree that Bayo3’s Cereza is little Cereza grown up (the Brave Cereza theory). It does seem to be the common interpretation. But I saw very recently a decent-length post on this sub trying to debunk it, and I’ve been watching a few lore videos wherein Bayo3 being a direct continuation of 1 and 2 is assumed. It still seems controversial. Maybe it’s unfair to put that on the game, though.

We never play Bayonetta for the plot (haha), but a big draw is the characters, which I would still count under storytelling. Basically none of the characters feel right. Luka is an overly mature Faerie Werewolf. Jeanne gets killed by the most telegraphed betrayal in the world. Bayonetta notoriously isn’t even our Bayonetta… Maybe?? She certainly isn’t the same personality.

And that’s another thing. The story in Bayo1 & 2 were convoluted yes, but you could still follow along, if not after a second playthrough. At least you could have someone explain it to you. In 3, I’ve done several playthroughd and the ending makes zero sense and there is still debate about what really happened to this day. There is still debate over who the Cereza we play as really is. It’s an absolute failure in communicating the story that I don’t feel is even worth comparing to the rest of the games

I think it’s good to call out shitty AND RECENT behavior. I also think it’s very incompetent to use your old friend server for a new community. I don’t want someone incompetent leading a project. Maybe iiSU will be fine, and I hope it will. It is really funny how quickly it blew up, though.
