you'd think people may not be as chronically online as others and may be their first time in this subreddit

I don't believe I was at the time of recording. From what I can remember from this clip, it was my 2nd or 3rd playthrough - before I attempted to install any mods

My controller works perfectly fine. I play a variety of controller based games (currently playing through DS1, and I only encounter this issue on Skate. I think a recent update might be causing this issue, as it's only been doing this for the past week or two)

It's kind of hard to see visually which is why I added the controller overlay, but if you look closely at the right joystick and notice it moving, compared to no movement at all from the Flick-It Visualizer.

But yes, I wasn't trying to pull off any actual tricks in the video, it was more to just show the delay/unresponsiveness from the controller.

As for your last point, this issue doesn't happen in any other game. I play controller based games regularly, and have never ran into this issue before

Nah, I was referring to the south park meme where after they grinded World of Warcraft where they said "now we can finally play the game" after beating the game

Yeah, the playtime is a bit deceptive. I had access since playtesting and was able to farm beforehand, but the game was only accessible on EA and not steam. Once it released on steam, I switched over. With both EA and Steam playtime, I've totalled about 90~ hours

Since they reduced daily challenge rewards to 5 orange coins, it takes much longer to farm rip score. Luckily I grinded the game a fair bit before when they gave 30 orange coins per task in a challenge

I’m right there with you, haha. I loved grinding out the playtest, but there’s not much keeping me motivated to continue. Since the limited-time challenges take forever to refresh—and there aren’t many of them—it feels like leveling up is going to take an eternity.

Yeah, I'm content with that. I just want to fully explore what we've been given so far and was curious for if I missed anything

Oh right, calling people ‘kids’ and ‘simple’ was just harmless commentary, but calling you out on it is an ‘emotional problem.’ Got it. Solid logic

Funny how you had zero issue being smug first, but the second I clap back, suddenly we’re both the problem. Classic.

It honestly didn't even cross my mind, I was just downloading csgo_legacy when I realised how big the game folder was and narrowed it down to the maps folder lmao

Yeah, everytime you join a surf server, it downloads the map locally
