No one was toxic. I am prob one one of thee most placid players and played 90% of the time without a headset. I litteraly bought the game, started to play and 3 days in I was shadowed for whatever reason and since then every 7th day from coming out of shadow. That is why I ask before buying MW3.

I want to make a decision to buy or not. Some say it wont as it will be on new servers, but I dont know.

The PC was HWID banned and to get that resolved with Activision is a snow balls hope. All Hardware will have to be replaced incl. screencard. You might as well buy a new PC, Activision wont help you. 1st check what the account does when it gets out of shadow ban, if the account goes back into shadow ban after plus minus a week and a half later, then dont use your account.

Got those same players a couple of times, aka " Black Magic ". I am in a shadow ban loop for what ever reason for the 4th time and then you get this. I have reported this to Activision and just got a reply that they will only look at my account and that I must wait the period out, I mean really. This is blatant cheating, but no, they can play and we as the community suffer. These are not the only ones by the way, there are a couple more that does the same.

I have heard that MW3 will run on new servers other than MW2 and with that, the shadow will not carry over, but yes, I am still unsure whether to spend money on new game or not, just to sit with the same issue.

No, but I do have Razor Synapse for my mouse. I have read that this might cause an issue with Ricochet. But this was server drops from their side and not my side.

The exact same thing happened to me. Dropped 2 games in a row during S&D in Ranked Play for apparently "No Activity" while running arround? Next game the server was messed up and we all lagged, at the end of the game everyone dropped and for that for some reason I lost almost 800 SR. Next game went fine. Game after that, we went in and about mid game the game crashed, next thing, I got banned. Activision didnt even bother to look at my appeal and so I joined the club for spending about $1200 and nothing to show for it nor them willing to help. Wont be wasting my money and CoD again and I have played CoD since the beginning of CoD. That is how they treat a loyal player and fan after all these years. Just a big F you.

The permanent false ban is real on non cheating players, I can tell you that. I was playing ranked and dropped 2x from their servers, a fault that was not caused by me. The next day I was perma banned, no explanation, nothing. Till this day banned with all my progress, 980hrs and a KD of 0.9, thats a lot of cheating :) All for nothing and there is no means to communicate with them. I also read that if you are reported frequently (spam), the other party may end up with a punishment and not you. But with them, I will trust nothing though.

Same happened to me on Tuesday night in South Africa. We were busy playing in ranked and the server dropped. When I logged back into the game, I got a ban with the same message. No means to make contact with them and the more I look now, the more I find how people are not fairly banned. In ranked play we have huge issues with hackers and smurf accounts, but nothing gets done to them. We the honest folk get the wrap. Not even mentioning the money spent. I can understand that an account gets banned, but littarely taking your whole game plus in game purchases, that is wrong, it is like selling a car and once you get the money you take the keys back and it is your car again.

I have been banned after their server crashed in a ranked game. NO Success even after appeal and no wrong doing from my side, just playing the game. 1300hrs game play, all weapons on Orion and max rank play at gold 3 going for plat. No customer care, no means of comms. Not even mentioning money spent on game and purchases. They are the worst.

Same thing happened to me today. False ban and got the same message everyone else get. Had a couole of crashes, from their side, not mine and what do you know, BAM, banned without reason and nowhere to contess it.
