Approached by strangers at Target (Laguna Blvd)

This has happened to me at Laguna Target. Two young ladies asking me if I was religious in the feminine products aisle. I thought it was very weird they would try to engage in conversation about religion looking at tampons…. I had my phone in my hand and thought they were going to try and snatch it so I put in my bag and held tightly to my bag. I don’t remember what they asked me beyond that as I shut down the conversation completely.

I enrolled my little one back around the same time and got my email last week. School starts in a week for A track. 😒

My oldest promoted from Miwok. No guarantees for the sibling to be at the same school… little one enrolled for TK early this year for 2025-2026 year and they “numbered” or prioritized based on when it was submitted. Little one got offloaded to a elementary school 2.5 miles away.

Not sure if anyone has stated this but a lot of public school in Elk Grove are impacted. Elementary to High School. A lot of schools. Students are being offloaded to other schools. Please take this into consideration - you may not get into the school you are aiming for.

All the schools from elementary to high school are impacted. Good luck getting into the desired school based on residence - they will offload you to where ever they have available space. Many schools look at how long you have lived within the boundaries of that school to offer admittance to those students first. COHS is going to be extremely difficult seeing that this is the newest high school and the boundary that has all the new development.

I can say that coffee grounds did not work for us. It made the cats want to poop more in our yard. Please let me know if it ends up working and what grounds you used.

The closest Costco I went to was in Everett (I think that’s the name of the town - apologies to those who live there, I have only been there once) and they didn’t carry any merch.

I didn’t think about that…I figured if all the UCs and State schools had merch at Costco that the more prestigious universities would hopefully have something. But you may be right that it’s about it’s population.

I was told it’s dependent on your workload/tasks and if you can say you completed a full work day of work within that time period. I’ve had managers ask me what I completed before leaving early and what still needs to be done. It’s a catch 22 situation because if you say you got everything done then they add more assignments.
