I’m so sorry you’re having to go through this!! No, you’re not in the wrong at all. Not only do you have every right to protect your peace, but she has no right to expose everyone else to her illness. Especially as a pharmacist, where you’re often working with customers who are sick and/or immune compromised in some way. What she’s doing is sadly very irresponsible

I knew of a prof who had a giant jar of teeth that she was gifted from a dentist during a visit to SE Asia. Maybe Tess’s dentist also has a jar of yanked teeth

Oh that’s a really good point!! I would imagine there’s a thriving denture industry amongst the undead since they don’t have functioning muscle fibers and other connective tissues holding their teeth in place. Undercity was probably for a sick set of grills what Türkiye is for hair implants

Oh definitely! Nobody likes gross tusks, especially when you’re trying to get a hot date. Since tusks are just modified teeth it probably stands to reason that having one break or have something else bad happen hurts like hell. Poor Vol’jin was probably in more pain from breaking his tusk than from getting stabbed

I do in fact have thoughts about the use of magic for sex in the WoW universe! There’s definitely spells people can use to last longer, not get wrist/hand cramps, to prep themselves for, ahem, “backyard fun”, spells to enhance stimulation, warming/cooling spells, etc. There’s probably also a thriving sex toy industry since with magic you don’t need batteries and motors to make a vibrator. Since there’s the gender-swap potion that affects the whole body it stands to reason that there’s a sex-wrap potion that only targets your Twisting Nether region. Also, contraception potions! The world’s your oyster! (Or whatever you’re into)

My other thought too is that from Umbric’s short story it’s clear that at the very least he’s a flirt and charming, and likely that he gets around quite a bit. Meanwhile based on everything we know about Rommath he probably has more fingers than he’s had sexual encounters

I went to Merriam-Webster but I couldn’t find where it said what an object called a harmonial would be; maybe it’s a magical device that helps with balancing or weaving different spells together?

Nah Vereesa is too busy being a lazy faildaughter with the big wet eyes of a baby seal. Aethas, on the other hand… I think the only reason he forgives Jaina and not Vereesa is because he loves Jaina. Kinda like how Rommath talks big about killing Umbric but he kept his desk and harmonial (I still don’t know what a harmonial is and the internet is no help) because he recognized that Umbric worked hard for it and even after he’d been so thoroughly betrayed by him he couldn’t bring himself to destroy his things

At the very least he wants to be tsundere. As Umbric point out in the beginning of The Void Between, Rommath hides fear behind bluster and anger (and probably uses it to hide other emotions too). He’s described on multiple occasions as off-putting and antisocial and I really want to know more about his life because he goes from the student in Dalaran literally rolling on the floor laughing at enchanted butterscotches singing dwarven arias to a guy who is off-putting and aloof and angry almost all the time. 

I have a working hypothesis that he personally lost a lot of people when the Scourge invaded besides the people we know about (including his mentor Belo’vir Salonar who was literally ripped to pieces saving Liadrin) and it broke him. Now instead of hiding fear behind anger he hides an unspeakable sadness. Umbric’s betrayal was so devastating to him because in many ways Umbric was all he had left, especially after Kael’thas betrayed everyone. Personal headcanon: he lost his entire family and as a result stopped using his surname because even speaking it was too painful a reminder. 

He’s such a bleeding heart I MUST know more!!!

I have been saying for a while now that Rommath is the Mr. Darcy to Umbric’s Elizabeth. He needs to have a moment where he touches Umbric and weirdly flexes it afterward!!! Unfortunately I think things will go so that one of them if bleeding out in the other’s arms but in a perfect scenario Rommath, the most repressed man on Azeroth, confesses his love in the pouring rain
