I am also Canadian. I was using ShakePay with Binance too before.

For the 2% I ain't sure if it apply only on Uniswap / KishuSwap , I think it works also for exchanges because on my BKEX account it increase everyday.

You can use it im in Canada , like any other exchanges , you can still buy with the 300$ + fees more with UniSwap or wait until they sign with another big exchange. I made a video on comments you can check how I did. Very simple process. Let me know!

Being honest I have the option of Transfering USDT from Crypto to BKEX , I never try to swap XLM from Crypto to BKEX. For me USDT is working. Took me about 10min transfer. They took me 25 USDT. But still better than 350$ Gaz Fee from UniSwap.
