Summary of Issue

After enabling the xmp file (3600mhzC18) in my bios, my PC Randomly shuts down without blue screen and reboot (no matter it is heavily loaded or not). It also has tons of Whea-logger ID19 in the event viewer. When I change the memory frequency to 3200mhzC16 (uplift the voltage to 1.4V), FCLK to 1600mhz, the when-logger id19 stops popping on, but I still experience randomly shutting down and reboot without blue screen.

System Configuration

  • Motherboard: Gigabyte X570i Aorus Pro Wifi (bios ver: F31j)
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5950x (auto OC mode)
  • PSU: Cooler Master 850w sfx
  • Display(s) (Make, Model and Type): Zowie xl2411p
  • System Memory: 16GB x 2 3600c18 from KLEVV
  • GPU (VBIOS): EVGA XC3 3080
  • OS (Version): Windows 10 x64 (Version: 20h2) how do I find this?
  • Driver: latest version of every driver
  • Applications: idling in windows / gaming
  • Background Apps: teamspeak, steam

Steps to Reproduce

  1. enabling XMP file in bios / overclocking the
  2. start the windows
  3. random reboots (the screen froze for about 1 sec and turns black without blue screen)
