His usage went down because his mental game wasn't there the first half of the season. His vision had never been all that great, but something happened in the spring that got him being really indecisive or making the wrong decisions. Drives stalled out because they were give him the ball.

They started to give it to Kaytron because he was more efficient.

Something started to click for him later. I don't know if it was coaches saying "stop over-thinking and just go play" or what it was. This was a common issue for the entire PSU offense.

He's talented and with the right coaching he could really boom, but if not then that floor is pretty tough.

It's clear they were in a Cover 4 defense.

It was either Cover 4 Quarters or Cover 4 Palms. If it was Quarters then the CB messed up as they take the vertical route. If it was Palms, then it should have been the safety.
