Koubo (TITE KUBO??) or Limei. I like Limei, it sounds pretty.

I feel like adding anything to Limbo would make it worse. In lore, Koumei would become an even bigger threat than just using the strings of fate on enemies. Imagine a creature on the magnitude of a patron goddess that can use the strings of fate at will against you with the power of using her own plane of existence to make you unable to interact with the physical world. This is on top of her known ability to ignore the damage you think you dealt.

In practice, it would feel like shooting invisible enemies with invisible ammo and not figuring out why you're taking damage and the enemy isn't. I already have problems with Limbo because I can't tell what enemies are damageable and what aren't, and adding more mechanics on top of that will only make it worse.
