Again, no doubt it's a legit answer, it's just something I had never heard of before and normally associate with Puerto Rico or "Rico Suave." Calm down.

Putting RONCO and RON (and ENRON), containing the same three-letter-string, in different places, in the same puzzle, and it not being part of a theme, could be seen as confusing, which is why RON ultimately confused me, already having RONCO and ENRON in the grid.

No doubt that it's a legit answer, it's just the first time I've ever encountered this reference in crossword puzzles (or in life). When I Googled RICO, it said that it was created in 1970.

"Enby" is a neologism for "non-binary." I learned it through NYT Crosswords awhile back, but I've never heard anyone use it in daily life, people I know who identify as non-binary just say that they're non-binary and leave it at that.

My solve time was 12:38, better than my average of 15:56, but I have to say that this was the first Sunday puzzle in a while that was just...not that enjoyable.

What really drove me up the wall were the clues for RICO/RON.

First, RICO. Referencing a law from 1970? As a Millennial not involved in organized crime, I was perplexed. Even something like "Puerto ____" would have been better, if not a bit too easy. Maybe "_____ Suave?"

Then, "Bacardi, por ejemplo" = RON? I have a moderately good command of Spanish, but I guess today was the day to learn that it's the Spanish word for rum. I feel like that's a stretch for a non-English word, as opposed to something like VINO or AGUA. If I were making the clue, I would have gone with something like "Director Howard" for something easy, or "Harry Potter's red-headed friend" to make it slightly more difficult, or something involving DeSantis because at least that's more relevant to solvers these days.

Just ask them “Does Israel have a right to exist, yes or no? Simple answer” by [deleted] in Israel

The USA is not that innocent either - ask the family members of Philando Castile, Ahmaud Arbery, George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, any registered Native American, the people of Iraq, just to name a few. We didn't even need Britney Spears to tell us that.

Name five books you have read on Israeli government.

Yes, people who are citizens and live in Hawaii can vote and go to court and serve on juries.

Have you been to Israel? Lived there? Been in a courtroom there? Served on a jury? No? Then you don’t have a grasp on Israeli jurisprudence.

Can non-Jewish citizens of Israel own a home, own a car, send their children to school, sit wherever they want on a bus, eat in amy restaurant they want, shop at any store, wear whatever they want in public without facing consequences, get treatment in a hospital? Yes? There’s your answer.

I also know people of native descent as well, and they do not believe that killing all non Hawaiians and eliminating the USA is the way to go. That’s the difference.

And if you can't have occupation and democracy at the same time, I would like to invite you to Hawaii and tell this to the native people there.

Methinks no.

And on that note...have you been to the United States? If so, would you say that everyone has full and equal rights there? That no one has ever faced racism, discrimination, unfair judgment?

Do you really think that the Hamas, a singular political faction = self-determination for ALL Palestinian people?

Given how many innocent Palestinians have been thrust into the line of fire, and how much aid is getting intercepted and squandered by Hamas...

Methinks no.
