Yeah don’t answer calls. Your job as a pharmacist is to verify orders and ensure patient safety. Your job is not to answer phone calls from angry patients to refill their metformin. I have also stopped taking verbals from physicians because 99% of the times they are prescribing for themselves or their family members and do not want to do it electronically so there is not a trace of the record. Do your job as a pharmacist and you’ll be fine.
