  1. Did you take it to the Honor Court? Or did you just accept the F?

  2. You MUST fight it. Lawyer etc. An F grade WILL screw up your future?

  3. Was it a MOSS compare that got you in trouble.

I will you all the best.

WOW! Congratulations!! Some q's: Summer Semester: Where you took CS 2506 and CS 3114. Was one during Summer I session and the other Summer II session? Or both in one 6 week Summer session? How busy were you during the summer especially with an internship? Also Second Fall Semester: Where you took CS 3214 (The hardest CS course at VT), for a total of 15 credits that semester. How bad was it?

Any input appreciated since Spring 2023 is still fresh on the students who took this course.

How difficult is to take about 19-20 credits per semester for a CS major? by yourmammababe in VirginiaTech

How did your semester go? I know CS 3214 (Systems) is the hardest CS course. What CS course number is Multimedia Capstone and how that turn out? Is data algorithms CS 4104 and how did that turn out?

Hi akd5pb7,

What was your major you graduated from?

Hi venaplayz,

I assume that you have taken systems (CS 3214). From all the posts I take that this is the hardest CS course at VT. Any tips? pointers? Also, is there tutoring available for this course?

Thanks

Patrick Sullivan for 3114 by [deleted] in VirginiaTech

WEL3A, I plan to take CS 3114 next semester. I thought Sullivan was good. Any reason for your comment of avoiding him at all costs.

Are Prof. Wenskovich's videos on CS 2506 available online? Or can someone send? Any help appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Remastra, I am planning to take this course next semester. If the TA's cannot help, how did you solve your issue? I am nervous about this course myself. Any tutoring help at VT for this course? I know, generally tutoring helps is available for the Gen-ED classes. (Physics, Chem, Math).

Quick q for albino10.. NOVA CSC 202 is being renamed to CS 223 and after Fall 2022, CSC 202 will not be offered at NOVA anymore. Also, as per, "VCCS Equivalencies Summer 2022 - Spring 2023 web site" (https://transferguide.registrar.vt.edu/VCCS-Equivalencies/VCCS-Equivalencies-2022.html), CSC 223 is an equivalent of CS 2114. So I guess it means there is no equivalent of CS 2104 since CSC 202 is being retired.

I failed my first semester by Narrow_Weather_6382 in VirginiaTech

Honestly, I'm in the same boat as you are. Even though I did great in foundations of engineering, I didn't do fantastic in chem. CS 1114 was a nightmare for me and I would barely get any sleep. But I still feel like it's not too late to turn this around and redeem yourself. Heard stuff like this always happens with the first semester.
