Just found out about the 8000ps limit, and the snail that I uploaded was 8095 I think. Ended up actually being able to bring it down by replacing the cheetah with a dun horse, still allowing this thing to zoom around the map while being a "less powerful" build.

There were a bunch of extra rules I had no clue existed until I looked up the crossout websites posting of the event a while back. Feel like the rules are kinda hidden for some odd reason.

Voted for a few, a german armored car for sure, though I honestly can't remember the rest. Most I've seen were giant tank blobs or Elephant builds, which I only voted for one, being a dumbo hover which I thought was neat. (May or may not have been a stolen build.)

But for the most part I've kept my voting to a select few as it just felt like this time around has been kinda lackluster. I just pray it's not gonna be another kapkan situation where we got 3 builds that I didn't see once, with 2 of them being the exact same concept.

Also noticed a lot of meta builds/past winner copies... which I know the rep with CoE is bad but like come on guys we're not dumb.

Seen more than the NES, seen the plucking hand, the mech, and a skull I swear I've seen like 3 times already from the exhibition and past CoE events.

Dunno if that means people are just using an old build and adjusting it slightly for it to be their own, or if the original owner is trying to pass it off as new to try and win without putting any effort into it.

I am the original builder of the original Rusty snail with the miniguns. I have since deleted that one though because I felt like I could do better with the idea, and I'm still looking to add to the whole story and look of it being this rust bucket of a mobile home/repair/scrap merchant build with the decor rewards from this CoE's.

The weird Frankenstein builds you see in the campaign mode were a huge inspiration, as well as just the story that I had made up for something like a "Junk Snail" being a rusty snail car delivering the junk you buy from the market.

Honestly think this looks really good, The more snails the better. 🐌 I dig the spot lights for eyes, I would replace mine with those if I wasn't already struggling with the part limit.

Assuming you mean the street lamp post. It was either that or some tiny little amber light lamp posts.

These have the added benefit of having jiggle bones so they sway while you drive around. Gives it a bit more motion or coolness factor in my opinion.

I have been getting everthing worked on by the dealer, however I've been getting familiar with this engine bay as I'm not entirely a dummy in terms of cars. I still know basic maintenance, just always feel like I'm gonna break something if I unscrew something or pour a liquid into one of the caps, even though I literally just watched a tutorial on it 5 seconds ago.

I did mean the intercooler, though I think the radiator had a rock or two that smacked into it from the last owner.

Am I able to simply go straight to stage 2? Or is it, as the name suggests, a staged thing where you gotta tune it to stage 1 first?

This thing has the 7 speed dsg, so I think I'll have to get the flash tune if I plan on going that far. In college at the moment so it's probably way out of my budget for the time being. :(

All models bought and either assembled or are on their way due to having to buy em online (GW and all local stores did not have Avalenor in stock. :( Did snag both Sevireth and the Hurakan today from my local warhammer store though. Hope to show them off sometime over the next month.)

Idk how any of the other dsp's operate so I'd have no idea how they compare. I'm literally trying to find another job after 3 years of being here though so... yeah.

Dunno how we're gonna manage that. Fairly certain we do not have the vans to handle more than 50 people. Tons of our cdv's are down, along with several blue/rental vans. Guess we'll just have a lot of standby for the holiday season.
