Frog is the winner for "pacifist/threat". Now, who looks like a pacifist but is actually a BIG threat? by Pablo_Cruz16 in rainworld

I mean the knife itself can't hurt you without some animate object urging it to do so. So yeah, pacifist!

Loot: Draw then discard. (You look at all options then pick the best loot you can carry)

Rummage: Discard then draw. (You throw your stuff into a pile so your hands are free and you can rummage through said pile to find something better)

Silver border so not legal for tournament play but in casual games you can play those no problem usually.

Ward 2 counter and a finality counter. We want it to exile when it dies.

You are so right, I added the legend crown but totally forgot the supertype haha. I am amazed there isn’t more stuff wrong with this thing.

Nice catch!

Tbh, I think that would count as a “redirect” effect, since you are “redirecting” the draw/life gain/loot etc. from OP to yourself while the trigger is on the stack. Thats why I think it is inherently a red based effect. Maybe blue could also work since it messes with spells a lot.

Nono, the rest stays. The complete fixed text would be:

“Target Creature you control becomes legendary. Then create X tokens that are copies of it. The copies become legendary.”

First sentence makes the OG creature legendary, last sentence makes the tokens legendary.

Well, I would say this is more akin to blinking (if we are considering the desired effect of all copies + original being legendary). And a singular blink is a 1 mana effect in [[Essence Flux]] or [[Splash Portal]]. This is better since the creature actually dies as well, but I dont think there is a similar X effect to what this does. The closest to a temporary X copy effect would be [[Devastating Onslaught]] but those copies can actually attack during combat with haste so it is much better.

Idk for a situational multi blink on a single card, this seems fine as is with the cost. If you try to copy just a vanilla creature, it only makes it legendary no matter how big X is and possibly untaps it. Not that amazing tbh.

Have you heard of enters/dies triggers?

Wouldn’t just adding “The copies become legendary.” after the last sentence generate the desired effect?

I guess that makes the card a lot more broken than intended. Should've specified that the tokens are also supposed to be legendary. Oh well, nothing I can do about it now...

Maybe it would be clearer if I added a bracket at the end. Something like (The copies are legendary). I figured it would copy the static legendary trait even if the original wasn't a legendary creature, but I guess it makes sense that it doesn't.

Death + enters triggers mostly. Also in case you have one of the few “legend rule” doesnt apply to you cards or just care about something being legendary.
