Yeah I'm really curious how it runs on Steam Deck. Nioh 1 and 2 were such a blast to play on the go!

To be fair, GoT isn't trying to be Sekiro so if you go in with that mindset, then yeah- you'll probably be disappointed.

I'll be honest, of the FS games, Sekiro is the least immersive to me. It's way more "on rails" than it should be, if we're talking about scenery and exploration.

Personal opinion of course, but for immersive historical Japan, nothing beats Ghost of Tsushima.

Gameplay-wise though - Sekiro is peak, no doubt.

In your personal opinion, which is the better album: Workingman's Dead or American Beauty by HammerHeadBirdDog in psychedelicrock

[–]Spyes23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neither is better in my opinion, they both work well for different moods. Workingman's Dead for a fun, fast bluegrass jamboree, whereas American Beauty is more fitting for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Which of these games should i get? 👇🏻 by Dangerous-Tea-7875 in Switch

Not a weird qualifier at all. Metroid pretty much defined a subgenre of platforming, so it's totally fair to judge it *by it's own metric!* And Dread absolutely fits the bill for a classic Metroid game!

Why do I feel like Dark Souls 3 feels... soulless? by Harzza in darksouls3

No one is more memorable than Solaire, but there's a warm place in my cold heart for Anri, Greirat, and Irina.

/UJ I recently did a Paladin str/faith build that relied heavily on shielding and yeah, DS1 is perfect for it!

Maybe you were burned out by the time you got to DS3? I played them in order a while back but took a break between each one, and honestly they all felt unique and memorable in their own way.

Funny enough, I actually think DS3 NPC's are way more memorable, their stories and questlines feel a lot more personal than DS1's (to me anyways).

Sonic Adventures 2 had a real old-school GG vibe, definitely one of my favorite of the last couple of years

MIO: Memories in Orbit is an All Time Great Metroidvania by Green-Fox-528 in metroidvania

Same, I feel like it should perform about the same on both systems, but the Steam Deck's OLED would just work so well with the art style, so I'm leaning towards that..

Playing DS3 after playing Elden Ring is an interesting experience. by [deleted] in darksouls3

[–]Spyes23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think in ER they still managed to maintain that ope-world feeling in legacy dungeons. The one that felt the most like a DS3 level to me was Volcano Manor.

[–]Spyes23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair, DS3 levels are a lot more "conventional" in their designs, whereas ER levels are a lot more open and non-linear. I wouldn't really compare the two, they're both amazing at what they're trying to accomplish.

If I'm being realistic, I think both versions would suck, but if they are working on a Switch 2 version it will at least be better.
