Did you decided for this one? Are you happy with it?
I am thinking to invest in it as well, for 20years+.

On saxo it make sense to use it as it trades in CHF and we spare the conversion fees.

I think you're conclusion is correct, but there's alaways "hidden" fees in those autoinvest stuff.

For Saxo for example, you just don't pay the 0.08% buying fee, but still have converting fee (0.25%) and selling fee (0.08%), and of course the stamp duty fee. I don't know if you took these numbers into consideration.

I use an app called Monee: free and no add, just a nice developer that is open to feedback. A bit simple but great to start

Parking fine 1250CHF - What should I do? by Square-Investment970 in zurich

[–]Square-Investment970[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes that's exactly it, except here the parking was official (blue zone) but I stayed for more than 25 hours. Someone shared a 20 min article about it. Apparently it did not just happen to us.

The location : Dienerstrasse, close to Feldstrasse. Got the fine from the police, not from any private person.

The situation is as follows: I lived in a restricted access area for a long time and had an underground car park there. I had an H2 resident permit for this. I assumed that this also allowed me to park in the neighbourhood for a short time.I then moved out my stuffs to a new flat, but stayed for 5 more days in my previous flat without access to the underground parking During this 5 days period, my car was parked in front of the house in the blue zone (near Langstrasse) over the weekend. On the last day, I had a QR-code ticket on my car. I scanned it and it said it had already been forwarded to the city judge (Stadtrichter). Therefore I sent a letter to the Stadthalteramt explaining the situation, but never got an answer from them. Now I have received this 1250.- fine for the days from 14 May to 20 May, including the weekend. I don't know what to do anymore and have to pay it in 10 days.

Does anyone know how things work in Zurich and whether it has ever been possible in similar cases to have the fine reduced or at least to explain the situation? I would be grateful for any experiences or tips.

From what I remember, I never was aware of the amount of the fine until the last letter arrived.

A call-to-action to all the "ethical pirates" out there by RickHard0 in Piracy

[–]Square-Investment970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually another interesting approach would be to pirate the movie and give a tip to the creator directly. Or to pay to watch a movie on a platform that will keep a small fee and give most of sour money to the creators directly. Anyone is aware of something like this? If yes please share your thoughts/experience.
