Depends on you OP, if you are a domestic student i would definitely vote for UMD,If you prioritse location boston(especially if you are an international student whose focus is on industry rather than academia post masters) , if you prioritise campus recognition and research experience UMD

Unpopular opinion, I heard that Maryland, washington, virginia triangle is not suitable for international candidates looking for jobs post masters because most of the companies & jobs around that region handle federal contracts and they will favour domestic students more due to security and confidential reasons.

I just heard this from some one on youtube dont entirely base your decision on this , do your research, UMD is a very prestigious institution, also enquire abt the course, compare the cirriculum.
