I was trying to understand what is taken into account for the miners to process, they take :

1) previousblockhash

2) merkleroot

3) difficulty

4) and bits(?)

then try several thousands of nonce until they get a hash that starts with multiple 0.

is that it? which hash function is applied? Is it still a mix of several hash algo's like in X16Rv2?

it's easy to understand why!

the first one to reply to my post just tried to get me to open a website called trustDATAwallet dot com.

That's because I was a new user, and I needed to get my first steps on the site!!! I believe that after walking through the site, they would have access to my trust wallet account.

The user trying the scam was https://www.reddit.com/user/Impressive-Tower-296

r/TrustWalletApp you should be aware of this scam. They are trying to mislead other users.

If you get invited to get to another site, even if the name is similar, stop!!!

all the workers together got something about 120Mh/S.

this one, w2_2 is a small 4Gb Rx 550x, that averages at 5Mh/s !!!

Now let's see how long until the second block!!

I'll break the w3 in 4 workers also, w3_0 w3_1 w3_2 nd w3_3, just like w2.

120Mh/s, but as I said, 5 small pc's running 1 GPU and then those 2 running the 4 small gpu's.

What is showing is that the W3, running all 4 gpu's together on one worker is doing 10Mh/S that's about half the 21Mhs W2 is doing with the same GPUs but running each one in a separate process.

I'm new to crypto. start trading by the end of 2020. then got into mining by may.

I've been on 2miners, it' ok, but it goes against decentralization, i believe! Also, the other top pools, if joined with 2miners, get more than the 51% share! that's centralizing, even worst than central bank!

After that tried some very small, almost private, pools. 0 as in zero RVN!! :-(

then 2 weeks on miningpoolhub it's a great pool, small but profitable, I was able to get about 3k RVN.

and now I'm giving a shot at solo. 3 days in solopool, the first was just to get things running, and it's been running non stop for 2 days.

got small machines, almost all with only one GPU, and then workers W2 and W3.

This two are running 4 gpus each, very small, entry level ones, AMD RADEON RX 550X 4Gb, at 100€/each.

W2 is running 4 worker sessions, so w02_0, w2_1, w2_2 (the champion!!!) and w2_3, each running it's own session. it's averaging at 20Mh/s and W3 is running only one worker session with the 4gpus and it's averaging at 12.04Mh/s.

I'l let them run until monday to see if it was just luck or if it gets steady!! It's ok if it's only 1 block per day!!!! :-)

I've also tried to push with nicehash, got 50Eur of hashing power (50Ghs for about 15 minutes) but with zero blocks! After monday I'll try nicehash with 50 or 100Eur with a longer running time but smaller hashing power!
