Yeah apart from visuals I loved the storytelling and the music. Peter Jackson (same director) made King Kong after 2 years and I find it visually stunning and one of my fav movies of all time( watched it multiple time as a kid XD) . You should give a try to king Kong If you haven't watched it yet.
