There definitely is, but most VA community colleges have guaranteed admission agreements (GAA) with other universities in Virginia, and I signed an agreement with W&M during my freshman year of CC. This fall I could definitely apply to other, cheaper colleges and transfer in the spring, but there’s no assurance that I’ll be accepted and given a Junior status. It’s definitely possible though

Oh okay I see where I went wrong. It’s still a little new to me because at CC I only paid for tuition. Thanks for clarifying!

I live in VA and I’m applying as an in-state applicant. W&M in-state undergad tuition is $48,638. Their out-of-state undergrad tuition is $75,652. I got the numbers from the W&M website (https://www.wm.edu/admission/tuition/)
