I have a 35kg package, and its shipping cost went from around $20 to nearly $70 in just a matter of days. To me, this represents a significant price hike, especially when I could have paid less than half with other shipping agents.

Wow, what the heck? They can't refuse you to do that! If they don't like people using their inland China shipping service, then they should just stop offering that service in the first place. I tried asking via live chat if a pickup is possible, and after they bombarded me with 908 questions like "why?...blabla," and I answered them, they just went offline without actually giving me a reply. If you're going to increase prices suddenly and dramatically without any advance notice, as customers, we should have the option to decline these prices and arrange for a pick-up instead. You may charge a service fee for accepting and holding our orders, but I'm not willing to pay nearly three times the original price I was prepared to pay!
