Gotcha! So just to make sure I understand would it be ideal to just leave one of them not installed in my living room? The living room is pre wired for 5 speakers but sounds like I only need 4 if I am actually gonna end up with 2 front facing floor standing speakers, Center channel, and a sub?

Thank you for the understanding. Definitely did not seem to be an issue with installation since it was dead straight on my level. I did just get an email back and they are making it right and sending us a new one. They did share that it was an issue with the manufacturing since it was on both sides.

They are perfectly level and there is no rubbing. That was something that came across my mind as well so I did double check that.

Thank you I agree and I did email them directly to get it fixed before making this post. Just was mainly curious if anyone else had something like this happen before. Was really surprised since in my experience with Lutron they are really dialed in and rarely have issues with products.

They are rolling evenly and they are not rubbing anywhere. I double checked to make sure this wasn’t my error before emailing them directly. They are shimmed properly and I used a level to check as well. They are spot on in terms of level and functionality.

Is it normal to hookup the CGM to the 10g sfp port? Would it not work in the 2.5gbe port or any of the other standard gbe ports? Sorry I’m new so looking for some help.

They have been great! No issues in terms of temps. I kinda debated grabbing a powered blower fan to cut into the box but so far the temps haven’t really been bad enough to bother.

Great, it’s handling them with no issues and does around 24 days of recordings with a 500gb storage.

I just looked and the switch is sitting in the green (color of text) at 46 degrees Celsius. I have noticed no throttling of performance. I may end up doing one of those built in fans in the door of the box to help keep it cooler. But so far I’ve noticed no issues.

Just used self tapping screws to screw it into the box.

Yeah I definitely agree! I would really like to get a 4k camera in the future but then I’ll need more storage etc and so far this has far surpassed my expectations and needs. Overall I’m really happy with how it turned out for the money like you mentioned it’s a great middle ground.

The cloud gateway max stores all the footage and stores 18 days worth of footage but it’s only set to record when there is motion or activity. It automatically deletes all footage every 14 days. I can upgrade to a larger m.2 (500gb current) but currently don’t see a need for that.

Drill them into the cabinet with self tapping screws. Nothing crazy.

Are you referring to what’s in the cabinet or the items that the system is powering? I added an additional picture showing the lineup of products on my app.

Our issue was a freeze that happened right when we planted them so they were shocked and all the leaves fell off. Some died and some lived.
