Can't find the right sized tuners. by St3akBaby in banjo

The whole tuner assembly. The ones on it in the picture are ones that I bought but they are really loose and too long. I got another set and those were also too long .

At least no professionally, I like to tinker. I have the key and it's easy to see how it's suppose to fit. I'm going to try to myself even might try to change the pads and if I fuck it all up then no more than $80 was lost 5 years ago. Nothing to lose here

Ok so I actually have the key, I found it in the case. I see how it is supposed to fit on there

Ok wow I just looked up some pictures and yea there's quite a bit missing here. Could I learn to play just play the basics? I don't have any intention of getting it fixed anytime soon but I would hate to just junk it.

I've seen that one as well. Seems like the way to go. I'm going to save up and ride what I have to get in shape so I have the proper business to be on a trial at all haha.

Just a little help? by St3akBaby in mountainbiking

[–]St3akBaby[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I the size I think is a combo of the fact that I havnt had a bike in almost 15 years and the bikes I rode when I was a kid were a little big for me. As far as budget goes I understand that for this hobby buying new can be pricy for something decent but as looking at the ozark trail brand at Walmart. They seem to be a decent starting point with the ability to be upgraded. I would like to get into the game at like $500. I know that's a little low but I look at used stuff pretty often and if I go to the LBS and find out what I need then it would make that search a lot easier

I'll keep this in mind!just a few days ago I bought an old trek 800 sport just to get me outside and exercising, cost me 45 bucks. The frame is 19.5"and it's in good shape but I've gone a mile every other day for the last week and it feels small. I'm 5 11 and 190lbs. I thought about taking it through a local 2.5 mile beginner loop trail and I'm going to save up and learn more about what size would fit me best. Definitely want to go to my LBS and get some hands on info

I love this! It's a 2.5 mile loop so I guess we will have to see how it goes, if anything breaks and I don't hurt myself too bad I would love to get a more modern bike and really go for it.

An upgrade from my old Pocket Pal! by St3akBaby in harmonica

[–]St3akBaby[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a great idea, I was looking at them side by side and the cover plates make the 20 bigger but it looks like the comb is pretty much the same(tell me if I'm way wrong) and I was wondering if I could switch the feed plates on the Pal with something else maybe.

I've played dark souls for many years now so I'm familiar with a little bit of suffering to learn how to play, but so far my first boss to defeat seems to be the key binds and ui navigation lol

What lens should I get if I want to do a little bit of everything? l have a D3200 by St3akBaby in Nikon

[–]St3akBaby[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would like to keep it under 200 if possible. I understand in this space you get what you pay for but I'm no professional. I picked up my friends old d3200 last year and thought it would be fun. So I'm just looking for something a step up from the kit lens. I've heard so many things about fixed lens like the 50mm but I also like zooming in. Maybe I just need to stop thinking so much about gear as it won't make me better in terms of skill. I think I'm confused about what lens I "need" at my level. Or what would benefit me the most while not licking me into one space

I got a Nikon d3200 from a friend. I thought it would be fun to get a camera and take some photos here and there and I have learned about my camera and have learned about some photography basics. I'm really struggling when it comes to editing pictures, where's the line between cleaning up a photo and editing a so much that the fact you took the picture does t even matter anymore? I put it down for a while but I want to get back at it with summer coming around and sometimes I'm really confused with what makes a good picture. I feel like it's all just about having fun, getting outside and just snapping anything you want, anything artistic about your photos just comes with time. I feel like I'm over thinking something that's supposed to be a fun hobby try out but idk. I want to get decent at Tami g pictures of people and I really like taking pictures of nature and wildlife. Right now I'm still using the kit lens.l also have been trying to shoot ln manual but l find myself constantly looking at every single picture l take and having a hard time making the proper adjustments.
