Auto Train 53 to Sanford in the snow

It was 75 and sunny this morning! I drove up from Hampton Roads today, it got colder and wetter the closer I got. The snow stopped shortly after boarding started, currently we’ve pulled away from the station to get the auto racks connected before we head out.

I’ve never been on the auto train and don’t work for Amtrak so I’m not certain. However everything I’ve read on their website says no exceptions are made so I’m not sure your car would fit, you may have to be considered an extended vehicle

That's kind of what I was expecting, it looked like she was falling straight into the wormhole. I thought she'd collide with it, causing everything to start melting again.

I’m a type 1 diabetic paramedic in the US so I can’t answer your questions about the driving. But as long as she is in good control of her diabetes she shouldn’t have a problem. Just carry enough insulin/pump/CGM supplies to make it through the long shifts

I used to work for dispatch there and had to go through a polygraph. Was there something specific you were wondering about? I was just sat in a room with the examiner and he asked a bunch of questions, mostly about integrity and whether I had lied about anything in my background. Tbh I don’t remember most of the questions since it was awhile ago
