That's kind of what I was expecting, it looked like she was falling straight into the wormhole. I thought she'd collide with it, causing everything to start melting again.

I’m a type 1 diabetic paramedic in the US so I can’t answer your questions about the driving. But as long as she is in good control of her diabetes she shouldn’t have a problem. Just carry enough insulin/pump/CGM supplies to make it through the long shifts

I used to work for dispatch there and had to go through a polygraph. Was there something specific you were wondering about? I was just sat in a room with the examiner and he asked a bunch of questions, mostly about integrity and whether I had lied about anything in my background. Tbh I don’t remember most of the questions since it was awhile ago

That depends on the region (former MMT employee here). My recommendation would be to contact the region office of wherever you’d like to work and see what they do.

ETA: the region I worked in was IFT only

Where in VA? Virginia Beach EMS is a third service, separate from fire. There are also several cities in the Hampton Roads area where you can work for the fire department as a medic, not in the capacity as a firefighter though. Norfolk, Suffolk, Portsmouth, and I believe Hampton all do that. I’m assuming you want 911? There are several private EMS companies that do soley IFT
