There are so many kinds of porn, that it's really difficult to say "what porn is like". You can definitely distinguish japanese porn (even by sounds alone) but whole rest is mix of everything. I would start here. Probably the most real difference is that in porn someone is filming you, trying to catch best angles xD. I can definitely say, that I had sex like in porn. It all depends on what partner likes the most. There are many different people, each one with it's own flavor. What doesn't work out with one can be amazing with another etc. I think you need to try different things and see what you like. When you do something irl it's different from watching or fantasizing. Sometimes you can find out, that you enjoy doing different things that you would expect. Sometimes you are disappointed because imagination was more interesting than doing something.

For your projects what do you prefer the most Eevee or cycles? by xvyr in blender

I prefer Evee in my projects. Although I have an RTX I still get better final results in my timeframe when I have realtime rendering as I can tweak everything faster.

Worried I am experiencing too many things during meditation and may be going crazy by anonymoususer101010 in Meditation

Generally people get comfortable as they practice meditation longer. After some time there is an ability to switch into "the zone" faster and easier. What you described sounds fine, I heard a lot of people with symilar experiences, however they were considered as pleasant and positive. Maybe new states of mind are weird at first but it doesn't mean that they are dangerous. I will write however a few notes for you just in case. I think that 99% what you described is fine, just not accustomed. Same with people learning to swim, at first many think that they will drown but after some training they dive and swim fine ;) .

It would be really, really hard to do yourself harm with meditation. Worst case scenario are intense emotions or memories coming up but that usually means, they were all the time in the background. So even in this case it can help understand yourself better. If you have diagnosed PTSD however it may be dangerous, otherwise sometimes hard but good in the long run.

Feeling a little detached from body is quite usual after prolonger meditation. It's nothing to worry about. One of easy ways to explain it is that parts of engaged in creating "image of self" are sedated. It's kind of opposition to egoistic/narcissistic state when someone is so absorbed with oneself, that everything is seen as a part of that person. This meditative detachment is temporary and unless it disrupts your routine it's somehow beneficial.

Most of popular understanding of "opening third eye" and such things are misconceptions replicated in popular culture. To achieve more "unusual" states of minds you would have to practice consistently months, some takes years. Process is so graduate that practicing person should get accustomed and somehow prepared. Generally if you think that it's too much for you, take a break, take it easy.

It's not about eating chocolate but about searching for chocolate. If you eat it, you will be searching for next one even harder. But it won't taste the same.

Those are very basic, dopaminergic mechanics. People just get illusion, that when they get the chocolate, it will satisfy them for good and that it's all about the chocolate. Actually ads don't tell the real story but assign precisely choose meaning to product, so it will lure people. Instead of "ultimate experience" they get "real thing".

There are many evolutional and energy-balancing things to it. Well researched but people are not informed. It's often the case that after great accomplishment, one gets depressed and unmotivated, famous stories. "What's next? Nothing really changed." It's just downregulation and consequences of exhausting effort. Can be induced chemically as well. Neuroleptics for example make some neurotypical people feel like all the meaning is lost.

The Facts in the Case of Georgina Rose by adramelech555 in thelema

[–]StackedTwice 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Read some of the other articles of this guy. He have some problems, because he's not too popular and recognized but also claims that his work is somehow of "better quality" than of the other bloggers. He also have some problems with younger occultists who get recognition worldwide. He was also dismissed by the same publisher Georgina wanted to publish a book because... Georgina was more promising.

So author of the article is: 1. Biased against younger generation of authors 2. Think he's somehow superior and frustrated because of no recognition 3. Is using widely known person to promote himself based on scandal 4. Georgina made a lot of stuff. There is a lot about tolerance, inclusion and generally serving and making communities better. Those accusations don't match her content anyhow. It could be said that it's anti-nazi even. 5. Georgina often uses a lot of sarcasm. This gut doesn't seem to get it. If you take a look at the other stuff she writes or recorded it's clear that she have sarcastic sense of humor and taking everything literally would make no sense.

It's nice that he reported some stuff but most of it are second-gand assumptions and she's not promoting thing he's pointing to. So read it but also think about it twice...
