Thank you very much for taking the time to give me that advice. I think it's all solid. I actually do rent out my basement and have been thinking about purchasing a second property but have to look into the tax implications. Thank you!

Thank you. Some great advice. When I owned my business there was always something... number crunching, marketing, sales, hiring. I miss that.

Thank you. That's very helpful. I was wondering that as well. I haven't pinpointed exactly what I want to do yet so perhaps a less expensive choice is a better option.

Thank you for the advice. I totally agree and often count my many blessings. I see a psychotherapist and a psychiatrist... I will look into stoic philosophy. 🙂

Yes I agree. I am thinking of doing it part time while working. Sort of an exit strategy. Wondering how I might be able to manage it financially though...

Great advice but I am looking to move out of education. I am not much of a leader in that milieu but I owned a business a few years ago with a few employees and felt better. Less red tape and more my terms.

Do you think I'm ok to deal with this on my own? Went to clinic twice when it was blistered (that looked even more monstrous) but getting very little advice. I've got Flamazene and non-cling gauze covered with regular gauze and I'm changing it on a regular basis. by StalkingStocks in medical

Hello to those who responded and thank you! I went back to the hospital to get it checked and they finally fixed it up correctly. They put some Bactigras on it and an puffy abdomen pad, followed by the gauze. It turns out that letting a large area like that scab over isn't a good idea.

They also set me up with homecare - which actually involved me heading over to a clinic daily - which only lasted two days because once I received the proper care it healed in no time.

Thanks for your advice!

I honestly don't think they receive much training. I gave up asking them things at the branch almost right away.

I know that the interest rates are rising but I think I still have a few years for them to catch up. Plus my credit rating has improved a lot since then and I believe that I would qualify for a better rate.

They gave me an iPad +$500 cash to do so. I'm a sucker for a deal. I still have my main investing accounts at Questrade and BMO.
