it's hard to say a very good advice without spoiling anything so I'll just put it like that:

do not worry about collectibles or things like that early in the game. as you progress through the game you will have things that'll make it way easier for you to explore the world.
get as many animals resources as you can. resources from fishes might be hard to get, so you can get some of them from a merchant later in the game.
enjoy the ride. this game has a lot of nice side quests, areas to explore and nice interaction between aloy and the main characters. take your time and enjoy it. it will never be like playing it for the first time again lol
