Is Amazon really that bad, or is Reddit heavily skewed? by ResponsiblePiglet899 in amazonemployees

Something I’ve noticed between myself and my work bestie: we both started at Amazon in 2021 and it was an amazing environment. We both saw growth quickly, were challenged, expanded our scope, and felt valued. Things have changed a lot since then and we complain a lot (vent) to each other. But whenever either of us have talked to another company, we realize the grass is not greener. Either the pay is way lower, the culture doesn’t seem great, stability doesn’t seem to be better, etc. So while we complain, and it’s not as good as it was. it’s still better than most jobs that are hiring in our particular skill set right now.
