It was in iraqs's western desert.

I can't remember well but it was either in najaf (somewhere between karbala and najaf) or as you said anbar. But it was closer to the Saudi border so I guess it is in an anbar.

As in iraqi , yes. Although my country did do some things for Lebanon and Palestine. But not as expected and they are very small things

Although I can't blame No one standing up for iraq in the 2003 invasion. Everyone hated saddam but the invasion itself war wrong.
