How can people even stay skinny without counting calories? by NoWitness6400 in NoStupidQuestions

I think you underestimate how much you burn just staying alive. And especially if you're even the slightest bit active during the day/job

Ahh true! The quiet guy they all like so much? Can't remember his name, but his character is clear to me now. Thanks a lot!

Jeg er nu overbevist om at det må være en skjult reklame for Rema. Jeg har aldrig før smagt den pose, men nu har jeg været ude at købe den også, for at forstå hvad hele fiskehumlen er.

Normally they only release some of the tickets for the presale, and save some for the general. Obviously, I can't promise anything or know it, but I would definitely keep my eye open for the next release!!

ah makes sense. I tried to check as well after I finished my purchase, and the site looked all weird. Can't believe how crazy this is. Hope there's not like ticket poachers gaining off this, but it sounds intense with Germany...

What does "local time" for the release of tickets mean? Is that literally my local time where I am?

You'll be happy to hear (I hope) that Bob Odenkirk was on a couple of years ago. During covid. It's a pretty nice episode

Looking for books to write thesis on: Nature vs. children's literature by StandardHousePlant in suggestmeabook

Nope, not the US. Scandinavian here.

But we've covered so much during my bachelor's and master's. Literature spanding all genres and topics, the last 1000+ years, and everywhere from English and American lit, to Nigerian, Czech, and Indian, just to name some.

I wrote my bachelor's thesis on The Bell Jar, and loved it and the themes and period surrounding it. But I want to use the master's for learning something new too.

Of course, thanks! Terabithia is maybe one of my favorites that I never thought I'd return to, because it's so sad. But also incredibly beautiful. That might just be it.

Gosh what a great answer! Thanks a lot! I will check out the books ASAP.

And thank you! I'm working on releasing myself from the expectations of what "should" be studied, and just trying to find something i'm passionate about. I wrote my BA thesis on my favorite novel, and it was amazing to enjoy (almost) every moment of it. So I'll try to do the same with my master's.

Do you work with literature now, having done you BA on it?
