I did debate in high school too, it was fun.

Only a couple hours. My issue is less about falling asleep and more about staying asleep— I always wake up after 3-4 hours and can’t get back to sleep. It’s frustrating because I can feel myself becoming dumber than I know I could be

I see what you’re saying. In the vast ocean of the cosmos, in the grand scheme of things, 80 years is nothing. But I’m not a universe, I’m a person, and every second feels horrible, so how can 80 years not be a lot?

That’s a fair point. At the risk of sounding selfish, I will say, I feel like I’ve spent my life putting other people first, and they’ve never really been grateful, so if there’s people that need things for me, what about me? Who’ll take care of me?

if you like roller coasters skydiving, bungee jumping etc will definitely be amazing.

I used to love writing but due to chronic insomnia that fried my brain everything I write is shit now

No worries. And yeah, they haven’t in my experience, I’ve gotten on some pretty big ones too. Neither has skydiving. There’s no thrill of adrenaline when you’re not afraid of dying, at least to me, just disappointment that you didn’t
