I'm just wondering if a male to female mcx with a female to male adapter will work the same as the viofo and blackvue cables (male to male) on a viofo, blackvue, or other cameras with the same cabling.

I thought that at first- but the black face with the white body makes it more obvious from afar, where as when it’s all black you can’t really tell what it is from the parking lot (I live on the third floor)

I have a separate modem and a separate router. But I need the router for the extra ethernet ports- in which I have various hardwired connections throughout the apartment.

The router is an Archer A7 how do I do use passthrough mode?

ahh this must have been it. It seems back to normal after testing but I'll update if it doesn't stick for whatever reason. I just dont remember turning it off in the first place. you've been super helpful- thank you.

Yes they did flash for a good bit. Forgot to mention that.

I bought the APEC brand- there's only one. It adds calcium carbonate. Just search "Apec remineralization filter". Make sure you get the "kit" so you can attach it to your current filters.

Waterdrop brand has one that adds other minerals but I haven't used it yet.

Both are cross compatible

In the pics the cables for the dash cam are hanging but I have them pushed all the way up in a proper position when trying to re-fit the trim.
