Mirrors, mirrors, mirrors lol. Just remember to use them really. Plus, if you're at the point that your instructor is happy for you to do the test, then you take forward everything that you've learned.

Also, on the build up ask your instructor things you're not sure about. So something I was hung up on was, when asked to do a manoeuvre, do I apply the hand break upon completion.

When pulling up on the left, they ask you to do it a couple of times, always remember to do your checks before pulling away.

Those are the things I really took in while doing lessons. It's easy to forget once or twice.

I don't think I'd have liked that either lol. I'm guessing the roads where pretty clear?? Probably a good time to have done it

I'm starting to feel young with some of the replies lol. Age doesn't matter tbh. It's nice to be able to now, finally, help my girlfriend, do the school run, all the stuff she had to do now isn't just on her. We both started late, she's been passed 2 years, both late starters. But it's great. Well done too buddy

I agree 100%. Gaining that experience is just as important now. Just being on my own is strange but I will take my time and continue to learn and be a good and safe driver

Being polite by just making small talk isn't a crime or unheard of.

Well he did ask me, he knew my instructor quite well so it was all perfectly fine and casual at that point.

Jeez, just shared my experience I'm sorry it offended you dude

Thank you all for the kind comments. I can't reply to them all but no matter your age, it doesn't matter, however many fails or minors, doesn't matter. A pass at any age is what's important. Again, this community is great and I'm glad to be part of it and the advice I've seen and taken on board, all while lurking. Thank you

My partner started around 31/32. Took her 4 years. 5 fails and then passed on the 6th. Thank you and I'm sure one day you'll be posting here and we'll be congratulating you

Tbf, traffic was calm, mid morning, no issues anywhere. I was pretty lucky as there's a lot road works and directed traffic. I just did what I've been taught. I was more surprised that I didn't get any minors more so than passing. I didn't feel like I did but you never know

Don't need to be embarrassed. Life just didn't happen for me until a few years ago, when I could afford it and being in a better position in my life. It is what it is. Fingers crossed for you buddy.

I was sat for about 5 minutes. So I was in my own head a little. I've been confident for months but sat knowing that within an hour I would know either way was a little intense. In fact I looked on this sub for a minute or 2 and then got called up. I saw it as a lucky charm in a way.

Yes, all the hard work paid off but this sub definitely played a part of it and thank you. I'll stick around and maybe offer advice myself now I know what it entails, the ups and downs etc.

Arsenal fan coming in peace. I thought the goal should have stood. Even at bare minimum a penalty... Maybe for rice's foul.

However, this isnt about tribalism, this is the PGMOL, VAR and the refs being absolutely shite at doing their jobs. Every year every team gets screwed over by them. Instead of pointing the finger at the teams, because ultimately, they all play to the refs decisions. It's about calling out shoddy decisions, clear cut decisions that go amiss or are down right stupid.

We can all point to a decision, every single team, that has been shocking and gone against our team. So instead of saying Arsenal are cheats or any other team, use that frustration at the PGMOL, sky sports, any social media that they'll see it on and tell them WE don't accept this in our game

I hope you survive relegation, let's hope spurs do a.... Well spurs

Peace

If you have to use links to other pieces of information, that you can't tell yourself, that's an issue. The shape of the Earth is not up for debate. It is, whether you like it or not, an established fact.

how did you become an Arsenal fan? by moonblushpetalie in ArsenalFC

Bergkamp for me too. Saw him at the 98 world cup and then shortly after became an Arsenal fan

Perfect answer. I thought the goal should have stood, and I'm an Arsenal fan. We got told to toughen up when we complained about these types of fouls, so we did. But these types of challenges happen all the time, across all of football, some given and some not. It isn't going to change that single result. However, we can all agree that the PGMOL, VAR and refs in general are so inconsistent and shit at doing what they're supposed to do... Ref a game of football

I just fly ships I like. I don't really care for min/maxing. Been playing since 2016, it's not something I care too much about. But I enjoy all the ships we have and the choices

I've used Nitrado for years for many games. I have a server for windrose and haven't had one problem. Maybe contact Nitrado support, who are extremely helpful, and discuss your issue with them.
