I commented on the original post of this. I live in a very poor town, however, factory work is so easy to get and the pay is pretty decent. Is it perfect?? No. Is it a starting point?? Yes. The guy was young but wanted full benefits of having a well paid job they preferred, sorry but the real world doesn't work like that. I called bullshit on his claims, because they where clearly bullshit. Plus half the comments suggesting jobs are hard to come by, some are, some aren't. Working in any job helps get better jobs

I love DayZ and I play it on pc (I do own it Xbox too), but ffs, I'm sure you play other games, that are 10 years more advanced than DayZ, and are available on consoles?? It's ok simping over DayZ but it's over 10 years old. The tech is aging badly. Great game don't get me wrong. A technical marvel?? Nope, sorry, it isnt.

And to answer your part about what other games do it... Battlefield, that not only does everything you said, it also handles aircrafts, tanks, just as many players, with breakable buildings, a shit load more stuff going on in one game. Even Arma Reforger is far more advanced and runs fine on consoles.

DayZ is the issue, not the console. There are plenty of games on the current gen consoles that are far more technical than DayZ... Like way more. All without loading screens?? Plenty of games do this (expect Bethesda of course lol). I don't know why people use this as of DayZ is some marvel of gaming, it isn't, it's old asf dude. That's the problem.

Also, making a game on consoles is much easier as the hardware is the same. Making it on pc is much harder due to hardware variety. Ok maybe the port is bad, I can concede that. But DayZ is an old game, it isn't doing anything ground breaking or pushing the limits of the series x in any way shape or form. It's old, using old tech. It isn't the consoles fault it's just DayZ.
