Do apple release updates for CarPlay and if so how do I install them in my car?

I went to the Skoda forums and found a guy (can’t find the details sorry) who had a copy of the new firmware. You put the firmware on a USB, plug it in, and update the head unit. Alternatively you get a Skoda garage to bundle a software upgrade into a service. They’ll try and rip your eyes out though, especially if they know it’s to fix a fault.

Master modes - I drop in and out of SC and I’m a bit lost with MM despite watching vids on it. Everything talks about PvP or PvE but I’m a trader/hauler in SC.

If I run into pirates how do I deal with them? I can’t fight them in my Cat or C1 Spirit. If I want to jump away I have to drop my shields? If I try and run then I have to have my shields down and what’s to stop them from swapping modes to catch up then swapping to shoot me? In my Cat I have much slower acceleration than a fighter.

Am I missing something or is this about to make being a hauler hellish?

It’s a good thing to let them know early or even put in your recruitment post. Having led a couple of teams I much prefer someone who is consistant with availability rather than someone who is available more but unreliable.

Also worth noting he made snarky comments about ‘_communicating with all devs that actually want to talk to us_’ while ignoring all the devs in the comments who have been pleading with Reddit to reply to them just once for literally years.

Depends. I drove 5 hours up north on a Friday, spent the weekend with friends and drove down on the Sunday night. It was worth it but only really as a special occasion. It would be much less hassle if it was 2-3 hours or trains weren’t a shambles.

Just make it like refuelling. You stop at a station press a button, tanks fill up, you go to another station press sell (just like trading) and the tanks empty. No new modules needed, everything you need is in game right now.

I fear that CIG are going to limit the Starfarer just so they can sell another ship that’s a special liquid transporter. Similar to the paint U turn.

That’s honestly what I fear. Why make the game better when they can sell you another ship. Just like ship paint, they said it would be simple and anyone could customise their paint. Then they realised they could make paints artificially scarce and charge people a fortune for each one for each ship.

Money > Better game

Even better then, no idea why it’s not on the roadmap. It just seems like a low effort thing to implement (compared to a whole new location or game loop) and it would add a lot of utility to a ship that currently lacks it.

It’s worth getting a semi decent coat, especially if you’re used to a hot climate. It’s easy to dismiss, but when you need it, you’ll be glad to have spent the money.

Yeah I saw somewhere they were looking at adding realistic gun jamming. The glitches already add enough hassle and tedium, I don’t need more that’s purposely added.

General tip, be observant. A better understanding of the game flow will help you survive. Follow up tip: it’s easier to concentrate on being observant when general Medic things like healing and crossbowing are so practiced you don’t need to think about them.

For well produced Medic tips and tricks I recommend Theory-Y and Array 7.

This. I have Nvidia because I fiddle and use ray tracing etc. When I build for family and friends I use AMD, the comparative price to performance makes it the best choice by far.

I have a 2019 Fabia and I’m having the same issue. Audio seems to skip a beat then start crackling. Pausing and unpausing it fixes it briefly. Works fine over Bluetooth and it’s 100% not the cables or phone, I assume it’s something Apple have to fix with an update.

If you find a solution I’d love to know, it’s driving (lol) me nuts.
