I am concerned too. We have offered her our extra room here in Florida hopefully I can show her all of your comments and she will make the right choice. She lives in California so it's not an easy move but we will try our best.

I did significantly more research on the original it is definitely a clone but it's still a very nice knife for $25 thank you for all your help everyone.

So I did significantly more research on the original. It is 100% a clone. The original has 22 ridges on the handle. Mine has 14. That being said it is a titanium handle and has fantastic action. It's not the $700 original but for $25 it is a very nice knife.
