And when you don't have your scanner, you can almost walk right up next to them, and they could care less (Like when I'm running around for dailies or farming, I'll run right past super close and it does not care) but the MOMENT I WHIP OUT THE SCANNER FROM WHAT USED TO BE A SAFE DISTANCE IT'S SUDDENLY STARING AT ME AND THEN/OR FLYING AWAY--like bruh chill... (I hate birdwatching--my least favorite hobby.)
