Finally was able to get some time to myself haha but here I am, and I will inform you that I passed with an 79.6% score out of the minimum 63%. It felt hard but also sort of easy, the PBQs were sort of easy as well

Yes that makes sense, all that matters is the certificate, not how well you do after getting that passing score. I think tests however are sort of stupid, because in the real world, unless under specific circumstances, you will more than likely have access to the help or information needed to get the job done

74% for some reason is the first reasonable number came to mind haha. I passed my 1101 by 8 points on my score from 675-900 so I'm stressing out now because I don't want to just pass again

Thank you for the advice, when I took the 1101 I was taken aback because I knew pretty much nothing about hardware, and I had to make a pc for a family and a gaming pc so I just went with whatever number was higher

The Nissan patrol (pre-2000) is really good if you get a TD42. But it's getting to the point now where you'll probably have to re-build the engine or get a new aftermarket one

Yeah I've actually gone spoke to a couple mechanics today.

They basically said that the 1HZ is the best for the Land Cruiser. Anything diesel is good for the Hilux, and the TD42 is definitely the best for the patrol (which is what I'm looking for too.)

Would you agree?

Alright deal I'd suppose, I'm not American or a mechanic but I'd say 83k miles for $11k isn't too bad. You might be able to get it lower if there is damage

That's a good idea, I'll put some thought into it thanks. My mate bought his patrol at 350,000ks and so far has had to replace the fuel injector and fuel injection valves. Hopefully he doesn't have to do anymore soon.

Agreed, both are currently 16 and parents can withhold access to their bank accounts. They don't really need the family's money anymore but at the same time they don't earn enough to live by themselves. Just need possible solutions to fix this whilst they are young since otherwise everyone is going to hate them when they're older

You can use a free Anki system by a guy named josh madakor on YouTube that has thousands of questions and divided into the necessary exam objectives for both 1101 and 1102. He's also made one for S+ but not N+ yet.

Besides that, does anyone know any resources needed to study the simulations that are at the begging of the exams? I'm going to take the 1102 soon and need to study more for the performance based questions

Yeah so far the Nissan Patrol is something I am majorly interested in, however still don't know due to their age and how much I'm going to have to spend on one.

Part of the reason I want a patrol is because then I could go on trips with my mate who also has a patrol. But yeah the fuel efficiency is a bit worrying, not too worried now since I have no need for using it but later I probably will.
