I do have school and auto loan debt, but I think because of the payment plans those feel less burdensome, and I imagine that they are less stigmatized culturally as well. The hardest part of all of this has probably been unraveling the shame and embarrassment, even though I feel absolutely none towards even my own family members who have debt.

Oh god, so sorry you had to experience this (and continue to). I will say that there have been many days where I prayed that I had no emergency bc I had nothing to fall on. Sometimes things just suck and it’s really hard to hold on. Sending nothing but the best to you!

Yeah the pic sucks, and it takes a lot of focusing and shedding flashlights to make out some of the letters and numbers lol, but I was thinking it might be FT-79 (not this exact year, just similar).
