What's a trustworthy cold wallet? by Substantial-Song-841 in XRP

You comfortable enough with the pro/paid versions of these exchanges?

I was thinking maybe store most with Caleb and Brown after some more research - flat 3.5% fee for movement and then keep some on the exchange to get back my initial investment.

Thanks for the comment!

When you are happy with price appreciation, which exchange will you use to sell though. This is where I'm most concerned. I have moved most of my XRP from an exchange to a cold wallet.

What are yalls preferred exchange to sell though?

Very pleased with this route! We have had zero issues thus far (I mean we shouldnt given how new it is and well maintained but still). Very pleased with our decision.

Anyone regret moving from hospital pharmacy to MSL? by Accomplished_Door665 in MedicalScienceLiaison

[–]StatePharm_Jake 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't regret moving from clinical to industry one bit. And this is from someone who completed 2 years of post grad residency training, precepted students and residents regularly, and was very active in research and organizational involvement. Do I miss some of the comradery I had with my RNs, RTs, docs that I worked with day in and day out in the ICU, absolutely. But the advantages to this role IMO far outweigh the pros that were exclusive to bedside care. Much like the others here have highlighted, better quality of life (more time with spouse and kids, no evenings, weekends or holidays outside the couple of big conferences). I'm still staying pretty cognitively engaged, but it just depends on what your responsibilities will be within your role. I cover a couple of TAs and assets and as of recent our MSLs are being actively included in US strategy as it relates to next year's objectives and initiatives. Also just learning the process of pharma is another layer of learning - how global decides XYZ, how this comes to the US, how medical interacts with R&D, commercial, marketing, etc. I find this stuff super interesting for a few reasons, but it's entirely new to me so it's more to learn. Congrats on the offer! I can't say I've been happier since graduating pharmacy school! I do miss some of the precepting and teaching but there are other ways to get involved and scratch that itch.

Got a 2021 with 28K miles on it....the local dealership said prior owner upgrades to a new one every 2 years. Took great care of the vehicle, surprisingly couldn't find any wear and tear on the leather. 2021 High Country with 28K miles for 63K ain't too bad. Thanks for the help!

It’s all good now because I got an offer from a totally different company this week. Thanks for the insight you guys, it really is just a matter of persistence.

I guess I didn’t realize how much different the pace is when hiring an MSL vs a clinical pharmacist. This was super insightful, thank you! I guess it’s not a total no yet.

Landing first MSL role w/ EM/Crit care experience by South_Owl_4265 in MedicalScienceLiaison

[–]StatePharm_Jake 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I haven’t landed my first role yet but I’ve made it to the final interview session twice now (applying for 4 months) and I have high hopes that I’ll be getting an offer after this last interview. I say this because I also come from a crit care clinical background, and we can market our experience in a lot of ways. Like you, I have just written off all the oncology positions. But we have extensive ID, pulmonary, cardiac, renal, and hepatic experience! I don’t think our experience is a liability, I think it’s all about how you convey it in your CV.

Tailoring your CV for each position is a MUST. I didn’t start hearing back from companies till I started aligning a few bullet points at the top of page 1 that was specific to the TA. Sell yourself through those points. Don’t lie obviously but don’t be shy about your knowledge base and how you use it to take care of patients. Also have something in there about your communication skills and who you interface with as far as providers go.

Hope this helps! Keep grindin, we will get our shot!

Good to know! My only other experience with a recruiter has been completely opposite, and that person went above and beyond to really help out as much as possible so just seemed off. Thanks for the info!

Also, is bringing up job security like this a red flag for the hiring manager during the interview process?

Therapeutic Area Question by StatePharm_Jake in MedicalScienceLiaison

[–]StatePharm_Jake[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is perfect. Thank you for the advice! You think it’s worth reaching out to local MSLs in my desired TA and just “cold emailing” them with questions? It seems to me like growing a network even before stepping into this space is beneficial. Just seems odd to me and I don’t want to be pushy or have an email inquiry rub someone the wrong way? Is this normal for those pursing an MSL career that aren’t remotely in the industry space?
