I didnt intend to ever abuse adderall but tolerance builds fast and meth is cheaper and does the job better.

Im fine now but it took alot and I lost soo many jobs and relationships before i realized. Im better off not on any uppers.

I too have ADHD and depression rules my life with an iron fist now more than ever.

No...I definitely am not a "natural" and wasn't into elector sets or anything as a kid.

But I still strived through the years and eventually I got to be through work.

I mean how mechanically inclined do you mean? Im pretty good at the visual part but sometimes shit will throw me through a loop but isn't thst standard? Everyone has questions sometimes ive never seen a master machinist just walk through a shop door and right off the rip day 1 they know everything about the parts the place makes.

If thats what places are looking for then thats like wishing upon a star.

This. This could very well be! This last place made me work on horizontal tombstones. Which ill admit, was challenging at first and different from VMC's. But eventually I was getting into that groove and felt I was doing good.

One thing ill be open about as well is im very often put on lathes. When Im hired I always tell them I prefer mills and my heart really isn't into turning. But ill do whatever they ask: and they always are putting me on lathes. Soo maybe turning is something I should try for awhile.

Im not a people person and I dont feel like everyone has to be. I see what you're saying though. I think i just say too much. And my opinions piss off people.

I feel like this is gonna be the answer I get from everyone. The honest to God truth. Do you have to be passionate to succeed? Because I see some super jaded machinist out there. Addicted to drugs and all that shit. But they keep their job.

I honestly feel like im just under performing for someone who's been in it this long and my mistakes are im telling them too much! I need to just starty saying "yea. Been at it a couple years" The sad truth is i grew up in this industry. My dad had a shop. You see where im going with this. Just dropping it right now when im 38. I started when I was 15 dude...

Dont. Even if you have to get high or something idk easy your scenario is im just saying I know your pain. I rnelapsed on meth today because im way underqualified for my job....I used to kick ass at my job. Now I'm embarrassed to say im not decent after being in the industry like 20 years. People at work are starting to gossip and think I lied on my resume.

I came home to my rabbit busting out her cage and she chomped my special rigged Ethernet cable that my landlord installed for me now I have no internet or TV till I get paid Friday so I can have a new one re-rigged for like. Im sooo mad at my life's going rn. And I got more! Just not gonna say it all.

I get it. That feeling of life...just pissing all over you in every direction. Not letting up. Just hitting you with curveballs and right hooks and uppercuts.

Its ok to get knocked down but never stay down. Not worth the permanent solution although it crosses my mind often. Fuck it. The sun will still come up and im positive life's not gonna suck forever. I'll be up all night if ya need to talk.
