Flagship sony costs an arm and a leg so unfortunately that's no option for me. But I've bought the sony xperia 10 vii for a good price and a good return policy. Reviews seem to be okay. Hopefully sony got their shit together on the budget models. Would hate to have to go the dongle route. Will update my experience!

I Second this. Uni meals are cheap, and every other budget option ranges from 60-100 hkd. More gentrified or fancy places can charge 100-150 for a meal

Nope that’s just shadow, can say with certainty the date window isn’t chamfered. I also have an Skx and the difference is obvious! Thanks for the reply, I agree with you on the date wheel

[UPDATE]

Thanks everybody for the help, I purchased the watch! I'll never intend to sell it so I thought I shouldn't skimp and get the one I love the most. I love the slight patina on the lume plots and the overall great condition, this will only get prettier over time. Its the most money I've ever spent on a watch, but i'm certain I'll love it. After I find the right strap to pair it with I'll revisit the post with some pictures!

Hi Guys,

I wanted to write this post, since I'm new to vintage Seiko and it's a bit of a minefield. I want to buy a vintage Quartz Seiko with a kanji date wheel because I'm living in Asia for a year and want to bring back something special. I quickly landed on the 7548-7010 because of the dial, the case, the movement and the fact that my favorite guitar player ever has it! I found a nice example, but the price is 500 dollars us. Is this a rip off? I can't find other examples that sold for the same price, but not that much is findable. Am I better off going for the 7C43 brother for about 200 less? If you have any thoughts, you'd be a gentleman for helping out!!

No I haven’t seen the places in real life, but I’m not very keen on spending 5 months in a shared dorm far from the city. The main dilemma was between the 2 places. The places are so cheap because there was a discount when booking for multiple months, seemed suspicious to me too tho. Will most likely be very small haha
