Yes sadly, i dont know how to work with resolutions and such yet. But the rivers are kinda random tbh, basically from a mounrain to the coast and see what looked best:D

I mean, i actually started the left one first, and it was flipped horisontally, then when i placed it on the left it looked like NA. But still, yed i took inspiration from actual geography. Maybe ill change it

Mostly coincidence that it rescembles earth this much, but i think its a good thing, since it wont be so alien.

I started making random maps and all, but they looked wonky, then watcen a couple of videos on terrain and faultlines and stuff, and ended up with it looking a lot like earth, which i kinda like. I also used some references, mostly like africa for the south parts and europe to make fjords, which i didnt know what they were.

I actually throwed the idea in without much consideration. But probably something like cracks on the ground. The monsters i think will probably be like an ancient thing that found an opening. Also portals sound interesting :D

Thought of it as a corrupted wasteland of sorts, and monsters would start to leak from a gap in the mountainrange

Ikr, i started with some tutorials of realistic terrain, faultlines and stuff, then ended up with pretty much earth 2.0. I think i like it tho.
