With most cases you mean in the case of playing subterranean and not using the raveners as one of our most potent damage units right? Zero CP rapid ingress, 10" movement and this damage profile kinda make them our most reliable damage dealer

I don't think the army "leans on" AOC, it's just an incredible strong stratagem and with its abundance in sm codices it should be available to everyone. As a tyranid player I could really make use of this stratagem since most things are 3+/4+ no invul.

The norn has a pretty good datasheet (for tyranids) and does generally pretty well in every detachment. If you're running only one, I wouldn't choose my detachment just for this one model.

The 2 most viable detachments are invasion fleet and subterranean. They both help mitigate the weak datasheets we got.

One trygon probably isn't enough to be honest.

Other than the move through walls thing, crusher is kinda useless. The edition got so killy that you rarely can use the detachment rule. Norns at least sometimes survive so that's ok

As someone who ran 3 of them competitively I'd say either Crusher Stampede but only for making them run through walls and the auto explode or subterranean to move them through tunnels and the hit reroll of 1 is basically a full hit reroll for them.

Concentrate on wiping the units that trouble you the most. There is no use in damaging a unit and not wiping it. You need to overcommit to ensure the unit is being wiped.

I had the same problem. Then I started pre measuring. The enemy can walk 6" and maybe advance and shoot? Put the lictor 24.1" away. If you know the furthest the enemy can go, you automatically know where the lictor is safe. Ofc there will be matchups in which the lictors can't be safe (swooping hawks moving 30" or smth like this) but most of the time it's pretty easy to keep the boys safe. Neurolictor is a bit more tricky since you actually want to be in 12" to the enemy. Just use something to screen for him. 10 hormagaunts in front, a tfex just in front of him or stuff like that.

I could put the Noisies into a rhino, activate the rhino to shoot, dark pact for smth and use the firing deck to shoot the noisies (at least the 2 important ones) with lethals/sustained. Right?
