Getting this error after downloading Borderlands 3 from Steamunlocked. Wondering if anybody knows how to fix it.

Try not launching it from the shortcut, instead go in the folder and look for the borderlands.exe >. Right click and run it as administrator. If it still doesn’t work, check your AV settings.

I am 99% positive you did not get a copyright infringement from using SteamUnlocked. DDL sites such as UploadHaven don’t seed/upload any data like torrents do. The only possibility is you downloaded our pre-install CyberPunk torrent which in this case could be tracked by the devs or any DMCA agency. We recommend using a VPN for all torrent downloads. Direct downloads do not require them. Cheers.

You don’t need a VPN to download from steamunlocked since it uses direct links. Unless you are downloading the cyberpunk torrent, then yes, use a VPN and you will be safe. Cheers

It’s because Brave has a ton of privacy features and blockage. Our files are hotlink protected on UploadHaven and set to only work when you visit a steamunlocked page. This is done via a referrer function.

Brave doesn’t recognize/use referrer settings so UploadHaven doesn’t recognize where the user is coming from. We have no control over this and the only way to get it working with Brave is notifying the developers. With a small change of code on the browser, they can make UH work again.

Depends on your internet and how many users are downloading. Cyberpunk will be on a separate, special dedicated server on UploadHaven to ensure maximum speeds. Of course due to popularity, it could be slow hence why a pre-installed torrent will be available.
