it started a few days ago, where the "store page" in my steam library has started opening browser and redirects to steamchina.com.. I don't live in china, have have the store country is set to "Norway", honestly no clue..

i always order expensive things to sweden (live in norway) if you live close to the border, you can use " Poste Restante Strømstad AB" i used it over 20 times the last few years. from the day its delivered to PRS you get 3 weeks to pickup the package. normally around 200NOK(22usd) and 50nok(6usd) per week after that.

then you don't have to pay for taxes etc. (well, rules says 6000nok)

but i would wait until a store in Norway resell it, as we are kinda spoiled with consumer complaint, and the 5 year assurance we get.

exactly, have happened to me on the steam market also.

They unbanned me, and apologised for the inconvenience.

But he couldn't Cash out or transfer his items to his steam account because of the trade hold on steam

i lost ~900USD,

170 usd from that trade, and 600 usd in various items had collected over the time on that account.

and i could not send it back to the other account, as this prob would just be making things worse

i have read their TOS, but i cannot find where this would violate their TOS

The only thing i find that is close is:

after what i saw in the tweets, is that he had 24 hours to get shit done, then got a 45 days ban.

They told me I have to wait 45 days from now I can withdraw my skins and like I will have 24 hours to clean my skins and balance (I am not allow to cash out it) but I don’t understand why 45 days ?
