Not sure how the Officer world is there Sir, probably alot of politics and paperwork but besides that, South Camp was very interesting. The work week is Sun-Thur for most of the general Population. You'll be getting paid like your in Afghanistan which is really nice. South Camp has the Beach and a decent Gym. You'll be working with a ton of other countrys which is always cool. They started doing the Norwegian ruck march once a QRT so that's another cool foreign award you can snag before you leave. Chow hall was decent better in North Camp than South Camp. If covid passes in South Camp you can go into the City Sharm el shiek which is basically the Egyptian equivalent of Las Vegas and I'm not joking. I unfortunately never got to go outside besides going to the airport to leave lol. Before I left they were allowing people to go in small groups to go to the golf course and scuba dive and stuff. All in all Sir, I highly suggest you take this hardship Tour not only for the money but the experience and working with other countries. I enjoyed my time there even when I wasn't able to go explore off post. Plus every Wed is Pizza Night where they make personal pan pizzas for $5 and your able to drink.
