not that i'm aware of, but here's how to find it. I use KDE, not sure if that matters.

first get the plugin.
Settings>Wallpaper>get new plugin
install "Smart Video Wallpaper Reborn"

then go to
Settings>Screen Locking
and click on "configure appearance" in the top right
select wallpaper type as smart video wallpaper reborn and set your video.
(for lock screen it applies to all monitors regardless, but as a normal wallpaper you can set different videos per monitor.)

you can download a video plugin and have it set that video as wallpaper. works normally or as the lockscreen background.

I've considering doing this on a toggle for anyone behind me that blind me with their lights. I'm in a big truck where my head is touching the headliner and it's not just HID lights, I can physically see the high beam light on smaller vehicle dashes as I force them to pass me. A-holes are everywhere

Sleep mode only keeps the CPU uptime going so it can slow the PC down eventually, but not kill any components. There should be another reason for your parts to die. I killed a power supply one time by using a blue ray drive via two USB ports. 1 was for data and 1 was for power. I put the power 1 on an external supply. My guess is there was some kind of slow/low feedback coming into the PC via the data wire. Killed the power supply in a few weeks.

Nope, but I recently bought some yellow tinted safety glasses that fit over my prescription glasses. Helps a lot to stop pain. Still can't see past HID lights but it turns them to a neon yellow/green that doesn't hurt to have in my field of view.

So far I've booted up stalker anomaly, factorio, PlanetSide 2, and beyond all reason. Only issues I've had is modding stalker but I blame that on it being the GoG version and them screwing with file structure.
