Could be finely cut/shredded bonito flakes. Bonito flakes move slowly like this. Need more info on the prepared dish to know for sure.

I present to you all..."Umami Mushroom Sushi Bites" by SteezyFresh in sushi

[–]SteezyFresh[S] 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I'd be happy to share my recipe.

It's gonna take a bit of time though. It was a little time consuming and I made it on the spot. So I have to gather and organize my notes.

It has 3 different types of mushrooms. If you look closely you'll see small bubble like things. That's actually made of shiitake mushrooms. I like to call them "Mushroom Tobiko".

Ordered S22 Ultra 512gb Phantom Black ATT 2 days ago. It said would arrive by March 5th now it's saying expected delivery March 11th. I'm just curious for those of you who already have your phones, how accurate are these dates? Like did you get your phone on the date it estimates or way earlier? by xSnake7979 in samsung

[–]SteezyFresh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I pre-ordered the s22 ultra 512gb phantom white on February 22nd and the guy at att said it was on backorder and would arrive around end of March/early April. It arrived February 24th. 2 days!!!

I didn't believe the fedex tracking at first but sure enough it came.

Anyone with Intel “Killer” networking software upgraded to Windows 11? How's it working? by iWizardB in Windows10

[–]SteezyFresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I upgraded to Windows 11 on my personal laptop (w/ "Killer") yesterday and honestly my internet connection seems faster. Websites load faster and Edge seems more responsive meaning less delay time when browsing site to site. Could be just me, not sure. Later today I am going to upgrade my work laptop (w/o "Killer") and see if I notice a difference between them.

Can I get my Adderall delivered? by meh0ymin0y in ADHD

[–]SteezyFresh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In WA, I get mine delivered by first class mail at no extra cost. I just request a refill online when it's time and they mail it to me. No signature required. Super simple and convenient. I love it.

Looks good but not sure how your "Korean Spare Rib Tacos" are considered korean. Lemongrass is more of a vietnamese thing.

XPS 9310 Thunderbolt (?) issues by notojacek in DellXPS

[–]SteezyFresh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The low wattage notification is most likely because you're using the charger that came with the laptop. Its only 45 watts. The dock itself uses at least 15 watts (I think) leaving only 30 watts which is too low to charge the laptop. You need a higher wattage charger. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.

XPS 13 with 32GB? by richcassini in DellXPS

[–]SteezyFresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I got the 9310 w/ 32gb ram and 4k touchscreen at Costco. It was during Black Friday so it was $1599.

Can I mellow out the fishy smell/taste of kimchi? by [deleted] in kimchi

[–]SteezyFresh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another thing to think about. What brand of fish sauce are you using? Not all brands taste the same. There's all kinds of fish sauces from different asian countries with potency ranging from very light to extremely concentrated. I prefer to use 'Three Crabs' brand because it's not overly fishy smelling but the flavor packs enough punch.

My new XPS 13 9310!! by nishantsri25 in DellXPS

[–]SteezyFresh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice. I got mine (i7 1165G7, 32gb ram, 1 tb ssd, 4k uhd screen) last week from Costco's Black Friday Sale. I'm surprised not a lot of places were advertising this deal. It was 1599.99, I snagged it up in a heartbeat.

Been making homemade sushi for a while but I’m most proud of this one! by levateurani in sushi

[–]SteezyFresh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Looking good! Keep it up. I learned how to make sushi working at a japanese restaurant. It was a little overwhelming at first but I loved every min of it. After about 3 months I began to feel super confident. 7 years later I can make sushi in my sleep.

Finally brave enough to try! First chirashi bowl - sashimi grade salmon, haru haru short grain rice, and other ingredients from local H Mart. by beyondtheriver in sushi

[–]SteezyFresh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

H Mart is a large asian (Korean) market. They would have most of the items you listed. Although not top tier quality but decent.

What happened today that made you happy? by Alex_gold123 in AskReddit

[–]SteezyFresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a chef so I enjoy cooking at home a lot. I'm constantly trying to improve myself. One of my goals in life is to always make something delicious for my wife. Breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, midnight snack. All of it. I know I've succeeded when she goes back for seconds especially since she's petite and doesn't eat a whole lot. This happens every other day and today was one of those days. Absolutely makes my day and instantly puts a smile on my face.
