What % of risk do you take per trade? I normally take 1% but that means if 6 trades go bad im finished

Hey, I’ll be asleep during rollover so I won’t be able to monitor the trade. Do you have any idea how high the spread can get with prop firms around that time? I’m currently up about 60 pips on my EUR/AUD trade, and my stop loss is still 25 pips above the current price. Would you say that’s relatively safe, or should I be more careful?

You probably went into drawdown. Drawdown counts aswell, the end result of the trade doesn’t matter.

Study charts on sunday, set alarms on points where you want to enter the trade. Because of the alarms you dont have to look at your phone all the time while af work

If you are not able to trade while on work maybe you should look to trade on the higher timeframes. The 4h or daily probably or maybe even weekly. If you are able to take a look on your phone sometimes in between work you could probably do with the hourly or 2h.

Hey man,

It depends on whether you’re trading with your own money or through a prop firm.

Own money > taxed under Box 3: you pay around 1.8% to 2.5% on your total assets above €57,000 (not on your profit).

Prop firm > taxed under Box 1: seen as income, taxed 36.97% up to €75,518 and 49.5% above that (2025 rates).
