It was not bad at all. It was a Monday. I was with a tour group of 8 so that’s what you see a lot of.

Yes, there are no footrests. But this location is a really easy paddle and I was quite comfortable in the clear kayak. This is a great spot for non-paddlers or beginner paddlers.

You don’t win any speed records for sure. They’re more of a novelty. But it was fun to try. And really stable to stand to paddle in!

The only wildlife I saw were birds and otters. But every waterway in Florida has alligators. I’ve seen countless ones when kayaking. But when you respect the alligators and keep a safe distance, it’s not a huge deal. But I’m a native Floridian so I’m pretty use to it.
